A frosty start at Haworth Brow Top

I’m very fortunate that my relatively long commute to work takes me through some incredible scenery and, particularly this time of year, I can experience all kinds of weather conditions early in the morning that make for some stunning photos. One day last week. there had been a hard overnight frost and a dusting of snow so Is set off 10 minutes early and headed up to Haworth Brow Top shortly after sunrise.

The pastel tones of the light, coupled with the frost and a cloud inversion along the Aire Valley were beautiful enough but when the warm orange sunlight cleared the top of the moor and lit up Haworth village, just for a couple of short minutes, it was amazing.

I was only there for 10 minutes but, luckily, timed it just right to capture a bit of magic,
